WESTERN® NIGHTHAWK™ LED headlights are available as an Upgrade ($600). They are designed with patented EdgeView™ Technology. The dedicated LED bulb directs light through the outer edge of each plow light to provide a full 180 degrees of light visibility from plow edge to plow edge, giving you the best all-around view of the plow’s operating environment. PLOW BLADE CONSTRUCTION
The reliable 14-gauge powder coated steel moldboard is 27″ tall and 7′ 6″ wide for rugged snow plowing performance without the extra weight.
 
STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT
Six vertical ribs and the exclusive WESTERN® POWER BAR provide unmatched structural reinforcement, delivering exceptional torsional strength and rigidity to eliminate blade twisting.
The high-strength steel base channel provides extra support along the bottom of the plow blade.
The 1″ diameter pivot bolt secures the plow in place, ensuring proper alignment and reducing stress on the overall plow assembly.
 
RELIABLE HYDRAULICS
Western manufacture their own hydraulic components to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability, so that you get a hydraulics system that’s not only fast and responsive, but that’s built to last season after season.
Fully enclosed components are protected from the elements.
Hydraulic Scrape Lock holds the blade down for more efficient scraping and clean back dragging.
 
TRIP PROTECTION
The two-spring trip blade protects your snow plow and truck when striking hidden obstacles.
Elastomeric bumpers reduce jarring and soften the blade return when tripping occurs, to extend the life of your truck and plow.
 
Tractor Compatible Mount Kit
Designed for easy installation onto a wide range of tractor models, these mount kits make it possible for the HTS straight blade to fit on a compact tractor. They are flared both vertically and horizontally to ensure proper alignment and make the drive-in connection easier. The push beam, which makes up the front portion of the mount, can be quickly detached to allow for a loader attachment.
 
The UltraMount® 2 system is designed for fast and easy installation and removal using a simple mechanical system. It features a robust one-piece design and is 100% compatible with UltraMount® system mounts and electrical platforms.
